What is HolyElk?
HolyElk is a time-tracking system: an NFC/RFID terminal with a 7" touchscreen for desk or wall use, plus cloud software - for SMBs, clinics, restaurants and coworking spaces.
Is HolyElk ArbZG-compliant?
Yes. Maximum working hours, breaks and rest periods under German working-time law are checked and documented automatically.
Where is my data stored?
Only on servers in Germany (Hetzner). HolyElk is GDPR-native - no data is transferred to US services.
What hardware do I need?
For on-site clock-ins you need the HolyElk terminal and NFC/RFID cards. Staff clock in with a card tap; management and reporting run in the web portal.
What does HolyElk cost?
Software is €0, €19, €39, €79 or €129 per month, with 15% off annual plans. The terminal always costs €349 one-time, independent of the software plan. Monthly complete bundles combine the terminal with the first software month. Add NFC cards only as needed.
Is there a free trial?
Yes - 14 days free, no credit card. You can cancel anytime.
Does the terminal work offline?
Yes. If the network drops, the terminal buffers bookings locally and syncs automatically once the connection returns.
Does HolyElk support multiple sites and shifts?
Yes. Shift planning, multi-site management and role-based permissions are built in.
